Tanya (and I) had the pleasure of enjoying 6hrs of uninterrupted sleep, more that once this past week. Peter slept soundly until 4:15a this morning, but at first the thought crossed Tanya's mind of, "is everything ok?" To which I replied, "everything is more than ok, let's get back to bed."
Jed has learned that howling excites Bueni and at times causes her to try to sing in tune with us. He knows it to be so comical to be "sharing communication" with the dog, that weekly he'll ask, "mo how peaz?" (more howl please?)
Some big changes came in Jed's life this week:
1) First, we moved his crib back to the nursery and put him into a twin bed with side railings. He still sleeps in a "potato sack" under the sheets which deters any unwanted departures from his bedroom, but he's found giggles in the extra bounce of the twin mattress springs.
2) Second, his car seat was rotated to face forward in the car. He's passed both the 2yr old & 25lbs recommended requirement, and now soaks in the views while monitoring Papa through the rear view mirror. I guess it's official; no more cursing other drivers under my breath now :)
