Class 5 moves

Blooming Jed

In Jed's new bedroom, his closet doors are mirrored and he's able to see himself from head to toe. Lately we've noticed him practicing his "faces" (laughing, frowning, staring, goofing), but he's beginning to shift his focus to now include self-talk. I think he's just getting himself psych'd up for the day.

Over the past few months, Mama and Papa have patiently told Jed, "no, no" as he goes against our will. Jed thought it worth a try to return the instruction and tell us, "No-oh, no-oh" when we do something against his will; however, he says it with an expression on his face as if to say, "did that work?". It cracks us up inside every time. Soon enough he'll say it with furled eyebrows.

Favorite words of the month: ada (outside), bub-bels (bubbles), orin (orange), din-din (dinner/ meal time).

Dotsero, CO break

The howling Llama

Jed wanted to feed the Llama "crackers" (rocks), but the Llama must have already eaten lunch.

April Showers

Tanya, going on 34

"Sorry Jed, no steak for you. How about some crackers and tuna salad?"

David's "mound o' cake" for Tanya

"Is that bite for me?"

Last winter storm of 2010?

Jed discovered the warm benefits of standing next to the dryer vent on a cold winter day while the rest of the family shoveled snow. Too smart.
