Jed got to see Mtn Pop and Gramma's home for the first time. Heather took her first vacation days as a Dr. to visit "beautiful Colorado".

Night time routine

A few times a week Jed gets a bath, then it's into his PJs, and lastly a little evening news.

Dedicated to the Lord

Tanya and I dedicated Jed to the Lord this past Sunday in front of and with our church and family. It was special for us.

A cozy fall morning

This morning we finally "plugged" our attic fan and turned on the furnace for the first time (set to 62 degrees ). Now that we have Jed, we figured we'd keep it warm in the house :) And don't those slippers look toasty? We were calling Jed, "little professor" this morning since Tanya's old sweater has that effect on his appearance. He will soon learn that a stocking cap & sweater is necessary at all times in the Dodges household during the winter. (Lesson #1)

Giving Mom a break

Dad, Jed, and Bueni get bundled and take walks, giving Mom a break to catch her breath.

Jed's lastest stats

Jed is slowly starting to smile intentionally, when we really sing and dance for it. His hair is strawberry blonde and he's starting to get chunkier by the week. He loves to use his neck to look around, but after about 5 minutes he loses strength and face plants into whatever is beneath his chin. He probably weighs about 15lbs (?) and is just over 2ft long. Thankfully, he has at least one 5 hour stretch of sleep a night. Yeah for Mom (and Dad).

It's pretty cute to see this little guy in his "dog bone" pj's. I'm so envious of the comfortable looking footsies.

While Jed circles his arms at the toys, Bueni tries to join the commotion. All of the confusion is very entertaining. Note the blue late 70's shirt Jed is sporting, circa 1977 Tanya's infancy to be exact.

Nothing like a weekend of football with Dad

Like all real football players, Jed was simply "adjusting" in this photo.


Jed sure does like a big bowl of popcorn when watching the Broncos.
